2009: Predictions for the Tournament Season

Post your predictions for the 2009 footbag net tournament season here.

Here are some of mine:
Air Jer (currently ranked 15th in singles, and 22nd in doubles) will crack the top 20 in doubles, ending the 2009 season possibly as high as 15th. No singles predictions . . .
Chaos will have 6 of the Top 20 ranking spots in the doubles world rankings. Currently we occupy 4 slots while Montreal has 7.
Jer will reach the semis of at least 5 different tourneys in 2009.
Jer will win at least 1 open doubles title in 2009.
The Green Cup will have at least 18 registered doubles teams.
Windy City Cup will have the most professional-looking venue and set-up of any event this year.

UPDATE:
So far, Handsome Jer has reached two semis (on the way to his goal of 5):
Phoenix Open
Mud Island Belt

Handsome Jer has moved from 22nd place on Dbls. World Rankings to 21st place, and is currently 1 point lower than Yves for 20th, not counting his performance at Mud Island Belt, which should provide additional boost. Watch out Eric Wulff, you're next at number 19!

Jer will get *crunk muffin* in Chicago and get bagged more than a congested chinese woman's 'world's best grandma' mug.

Updates on my predictions:

1) Air Jer has cracked the top 20 in doubles.
2) From "No singles predictions . . .," to his first singles title, 2009 Windy City Cup
3)Chaos has 6 of the Top 23 ranking spots in the doubles world rankings.
4)Jer will reach the semis of at least 5 different tourneys in 2009.
-Phoenix (Final)
-Mud Island Belt (Semi)
-Green Cup (Quarters)
-Windy City Cup (Final)
5) Jer will win at least 1 open doubles title in 2009. (doesn't look promising with only the "majors," MTL and Worlds still on the schedule)
6) The Green Cup had 21 open teams (predicted more than 18).
7) Hard to say whether Windy City Cup's or Green Cup's venue looked more professional. The fan nod might go to the Green Cup, while the best location and best venue prsentation nods went to Windy City. The food/drink nod definitely went to Green Cup.

More predictions:
2 , maybe 3 Chaos teams (or teams w/ Chaos members) will make the quarterfinals at Montreal
2 Chaos teams will finish in the top 10 at Worlds.
Jer's singles ranking will topple to below 25th by the end of Worlds because he can't stay healthy!
